Rezumat
Jean François Coste a fost un excepțional medic francez care și-a desfășurat activitatea în partea de final a secolului XVIII și prima jumătate a secolului XIX. Mai exact, a fost primul medic-șef al Armatei Franceze în timpul lui Napoleon Bonaparte, a fost primul primar al orașului Versailles, dar este considerat pe drept cuvânt ca fiind și fondator al Spitalului Val-de-Grâce (l’Hôpital du Val-de-Grâce). Jean François Coste – First Chief Physician of the French Army during the reign of Emperor Napoleon I
Abstract
Jean François Coste was an exceptional French doctor who worked in the latter part of the 18th century and the first half of the 19th century. Specifically, He was the first chief physician of the French Army during Napoleon Bonaparte’s time and was also the first mayor of the city of Versailles. He is rightfully considered the founder of the Val-de-Grâce Hospital (l’Hôpital du Val-de-Grâce). We will attempt to present a particularly succinct biography of one who was one of the most respected servants of Hippocrates during the Napoleonic Era.
