Rezumat
Nu utilizați încă în practică testul rapid CRP (C-reactive protein) la copiii bolnavi. Studiile nu arată rezultate suficient de evidente. Există riscul ca rezultatului testului să i se dea mai multă valoare decât alte simptome clinice importante. Pe baza literaturii actuale, se pare că există situații în care testul CRP poate aduce un avantaj daca este utilizat strict în cadrul unui protocol de cercetare. Pe de altă parte, există studii în care acest avantaj nu a fost demonstrat. Pentru utilizarea în practica medicului de familie din Țările de Jos, este, prin urmare, insuficient de clar când testul poate fi utilizat în siguranță și va contribui la o mai bună luare a deciziilor.

There is no certainty about the use of the CRP rapid test in sick children in the practice of the family doctor
Abstract
Do not yet use the CRP rapid test on sick children in general practice. Research outcomes do not show clear results. There is a risk that the test result will be given more value as compared to other important clinical symptoms. On the basis of current literature, there appears to be situations in which the CRP test may yield a profit if strictly used in a research protocol. On the other hand, there are studies where this profit was not found. For use in Dutch general practice, it is therefore insufficiently clear when the test can be used safely and will contribute to better decision-making.
